Cl\u00e9mence Perronnet will speak about inequalities between girls and boys in science. The speaker will be in Vannes, and the talk broadcasted in the M\u00e9tivier room (Rennes) and TPI ENSSAT (Lannion).<\/p>\n<p><strong>The new edition of the mentoring program is open!<\/strong> Over a 12-month period, interact with a mentor on topics of your choice. <a href=\"https:\/\/frama.link\/q-mentorees-st\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register by December 3 for scientific and technical staff<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/frama.link\/q-mentorees-adm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for administrative staff<\/a>. It is also possible to register as a mentor.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"ongoing-activities\">Ongoing activities<\/h3>\n<h4 id=\"scientific-mediation\">Scientific mediation<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Six PhD students are currently participating in the \u201cL codent, L cr\u00e9ent\u201d action<\/strong>. Between October and December, they will teach creative programming in Python to thirty middle school girls at the Landry and Gayeulles middle schools. <a href=\"https:\/\/lclc-rennes.irisa.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>More info (in French)<\/em><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>On November 10, <strong>about fifty teachers participated in the first session of \u201cJ\u2019peux pas j\u2019ai informatique\u201d<\/strong> which was entirely dedicated to them. They learnt about the diversity of roles for professionals in digital science and how to deconstruct stereotypes. About twenty books are available in the cafet\u2019. Choose a book and read it on site or take it home for a few days. <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.irisa.fr\/en\/node\/4485\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>More info<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<li>160 people took part in the <strong>quiz on communication at work<\/strong>. They read \u201cNum\u00e9rique, compter avec les femmes\u201d by Anne-Marie Kermarrec and meet every week by visioconference. <a href=\"https:\/\/egalite-fh.irisa.fr\/realisations\/cercle-de-lecture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>More info<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"inclusive-workspace\">Inclusive workspace<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>There are still places available for the <strong>harassment awareness training<\/strong>. As a reminder, this training \u2013 open to IRISA\/Inria RBA permanent staff \u2013 will be mandatory for anyone taking on responsibilities (including thesis supervision) at IRISA as of the beginning of the 2022 academic year (see Elisa Fromont\u2019s email of November 14 for the registration links).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 id=\"animation-1\">Animation<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The video of the Fifty\/Fifty Seminar with Isabelle Collet<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/videos-rennes.inria.fr\/video\/auC5Nyqp5?query=collet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cR\u00e9int\u00e9grer les femmes dans les m\u00e9tiers du num\u00e9rique : \u00e9tudes de pratiques inclusives\u201d is online (in French)<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>next meeting between women scientists<\/strong> will take place on Tuesday, December 7 at noon.
